Autocenter Goedert Young Drivers Day is back!

The countdown for Luxembourg’s first and only national road safety event has started. On 13th July 2013, the Centre de Formation pour Conducteurs and Goodyear‘s Proving Grounds will be hosting the third edition of the Autocenter Goedert Young Drivers Day on Goodyear's Proving Grounds.

Under the leadership of the non-profit organisation Young Drivers a.s.b.l., the continuous patronage of the Ministry of sustainable Development and Infrastructures and the support of our partners and sponsors, this event now celebrates its third anniversary and has quickly risen to a popular training day for young drivers.  Marc Lis, initiator and creator of this event, will continue to manage this project and set the scene for yet another successful day.

THE EVENT
The Autocenter Goedert Young Drivers Day is for young drivers aged 18-24. At the National Training Centre in Colmar Berg, 120 participants will be given the chance to take part in 12 workshops dedicated to increase their road safety awareness and better their driving skills for an entire day.. The highlight of the event will be the presence of pro-drivers who will coach the participants on Goodyear’s proving Grounds. Previous renowned pro-drivers who honoured us with their presence:

REGISTRATION
A €30 registration fee will cover breakfast, lunch and access to the 12 workshops. No privately owned cars are necessary as Renault will be providing new cars from their extensive range of models for the participants to use during the various driving exercises. Additionally, Autocenter Goedert will offer you a free car check for your car and every participant will also receive a goodie bag with gifts and gadgets from our sponsors and partners.

OPEN DAY

If you do not quite fit into the age range, or if you did not manage to get a space to participate, then you can just come along and visit the Autocenter Goeder as there will be plenty of activities for everyone during this event. As a part of the Autocenter Goedert Young Drivers Day, the organiser will set up Open Day activities for all visitors.

Even if you are not able to take part in the 12 workshops, you'll have the chance to sample various road safety exercises (simulators and test drives) and meet our pro-drivers on a 2-lap taxi drive around the Goodyear Proving Grounds.
